Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before hitting the slopes.

How do I determine the right ski length for my height and skill level?

Generally, skis should reach between your chin and the top of your head. Beginners should opt for shorter skis for better control, while advanced skiers often prefer longer skis for stability at high speeds. Check our digital sizing guide for specific brand recommendations.

Do you offer professional binding mounting and adjustment?

Yes, all ski and binding packages purchased online can be mounted at our physical shop for free. If you are ordering remotely, we recommend having a certified technician at your local resort perform the mounting to ensure safety release settings are calibrated to your weight and boot sole length.

What is your return policy for technical winter outerwear?

We accept returns on unworn gear with original tags attached within 30 days of purchase. Please note that for safety reasons, used equipment or base layers cannot be returned once they have been worn on the mountain.

How long does shipping take for oversized items like snowboards and skis?

Standard shipping for oversized equipment typically takes 5-7 business days within the continental US. We use specialized reinforced packaging to ensure your gear arrives without scratches or structural damage.

Do you provide tuning and waxing services?

Absolutely. Sundance Ski Shop offers full-service tuning, including precision edge sharpening, base repair, and temperature-specific hot waxing to ensure maximum glide and performance in varying snow conditions.

Are the products covered by a manufacturer warranty?

Yes, all new equipment sold through Sundance Ski Shop is covered by the full manufacturer's warranty against defects. We are an authorized dealer for all brands we carry and will assist you in the claims process if an issue arises.
